AURIC By Aaricia Varanda

The series “Auric” is a tribute to the painter Gustave Klimt. My wish was to transpose in a contemporary way his paintings and his codes (red haired gril, golden tones, geometric patterns…) The adding material on the pictures sometimes numerical sometimes pictural (gold leaf, glitters) makes a link between the painting used by Klimt and my camera. This mix of technical questions the limits of artistic practices and how transgressing genres to create a new work.
