An Angular House With A Protruding Wall By MOOMOO Architects

Polish studio MOOMOO Architects created a proposal for an angular house with a unique facade that features a protruding wall on one side of the building.
“One distinctive leaning wall is a result of a compromise between a simple shape and the local law, which requires building in line with plot borders.”Additionally, the structure of the ‘L House’, which is located in Losz, is entirely clad in thermopian, a material that is usually only used for roofing. According to the architects, the unusual material helps with thermal regulation and insulation.
In a statement about the project, the studio say: “We were intent on the house form to relate to the proportions of a Polish house but at the same time we wanted it to be simple and redefined. One distinctive leaning wall is a result of a compromise between a simple shape and the local law, which requires building in line with plot borders.”
