Paris based architecture studio ‘Lode Architecture’ designed a 250 sqm holiday house on a river bank in Brittany, France. ‘D House’ is camouflaged into the nature around it, reflecting the woods and leafs in the big window glasses and assimilating it in its facade and interior. Its simple, clean and open design with straight lines can function as festive venue, or as a cosy and intimate shelter. Life here is organized around the hearth, the stairs and a central cooking island. From the bedrooms, you can access outside closed‐in spaces to get fresh air or sunbathe above the living‐room. Panoramic views invite the nature into the house and envelopes you.
