Studio MUN Creates Paper Pots

Words

In studio MUN‘s latest project, a surprising concept meets the elegance of natural materials, bringing the eco-design to a new level.

Made of accumulated wet paper, the ‘Paper Pot’ has two functions – it can consume the flower’s water, but it may act as a humidifier as well. Raw and minimal, it fits perfectly in the trend of using natural materials in the interiors. In addition, it can be made by everyone with the use of particular tools, and is possible to produce from the used paper, which makes the design accessible and sustainable. Established by Korean designer Seungji Mun, studio MUN is based between Seoul and Copenhagen and specializes in making furniture, space and exhibition design with one main motto: “A designer is a storyteller and with his products, new stories are created.”
