A Lookbook Of Lingerie For Lounging

Words

For Collection II of her eponymous lingerie range, the Hong Kong-born Central Saint Martins graduate Marie Yat drew inspiration from such diverse sources as the Japanese Kintsugi technique, the Korean internet fad of Muk-bang and representations of women in Chinese art. Centred around the notion that “imperfection is comforting”, the collection features easy, supportive pieces in a palette of beige, rust, black and white. “The moment we want to capture should be somehow an experience that is easy to relate to,” explains Yat. “For example the bedroom, or the pleasure in enjoying food.”
