Where are you from? How does that place influence the way you photograph?
I am from Minneapolis Minnesota. I feel like I am mostly influenced by the weather here- sometimes it can make it a bit challenging to photograph! It forced me to take simple indoor shots because it wasn’t always easy to venture outside. I also am influenced by the people here- they are all insanely creative and collaborative!

What are your favorite environments to shoot in?
Uncomfortable/unfamiliar ones- they push you to use your creativity!

What are the strengths of shooting primarily mobile? How does this affect your imagery?
I think it makes it extremely easy and accessible. Before I had my iphone, I was always carrying around my 35 mm camera, and shooting everything on film that inspired me.

Who and what are the things that inspire you?
My husband, nights with great company, song lyrics, a walk outside, finding an old note from a friend… this list could go on forever.

Favorite instagrammers?
@amerrymishap hands down. She has been on of my very favorites since I joined instagram almost 5 year ago!

Which Apps do you use to edit your pictures?
solely VSCO Cam.

Tell us a little about your everyday.
I wake up daily in desperate need of coffee and head to work- where for my day job, I design clothing. I try to grab lunch with friends and (recently) spend most nights enjoying a patio somewhere with my husband. My main goal for every day is to try a create beautiful things. I always want to think of myself as an artist, so staying inspired and creating are of high importance to me.
