A Form of View by Yoav Friedländer

With his photography, Yoav Friedländer aims to examine the Israeli-American relationship. He focuses on similarities and differences between the two cultures and sets of geographical locations seen through his perspective as an ‘Americanized Israeli’. His work is strongly influenced by his childhood in deserted landscapes of war and a mediated American culture. The result is a set of unreal, yet disturbing images that make you think.
