Bear Biking by Amy Dover

Through dark characters, melancholy tones and the anthropomorphization of animals, Dover invites the viewer to enter a world which challenges traditional perceptions and where nature becomes the central focus. Her influences come from growing up in a small village in the North of England, playing in the woods and reading folk tales. As well as of her love for Victorian paintings, Natural History books and Nature itself, which she translates into her artwork today.
