Pure Photography by Raphael Halin

Words

Raphael Halin is a French photographer and art director in advertising who currently lives and works in Paris. His photography is inspired by works from Gerhard Richter, Gursky, De Stael, Lucien Hervé, Rothko and Depardon. His latest Series, for example ‘Côte d’Opale’, show pictures of extensive places, in which the colors seem to flow into one another. They mediate a calmness and soft purity.

Their minimalistic scenes let the viewer, who is confronted with a mass of advertisements and a sensory overload in general, exhale and calm down. We love his restful and beautiful shots and don’t want to withhold them from you.
