Franck Bohbot is a Photographer born 1980 in France, who studied in Paris and lives and works currently in New York. His photographs are famous for being monumental, poetic, colorful and with the perfect symmetry. This work shows the giant installation of the ‘Leviathan’ by Anish Kapoor from 2011 in the monumental Grand Palais of Paris. ‘In this series I tried to show the intensity of the architecture of Contemporary art. The Relationship between the public, the sensual feminine curves and art of the Leviathan amidst of the Grandiose Architecture of the Grand Palais’. Organized by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, Monumenta annually invites an internationally renowned Artist to transform the 13.500 square meters of the Grand Palais Nave into an artwork especially created for the event.
