Inspired by some of the finest Baroque artists and their paintings, Jake Wood Evans’ work ranges from small and sensitive studies to large scale, epic canvasses. Creating intangible, dark works he provokes emotions of a both unsettling and beautiful notion and mood.

Jake Wood Evans graduated with a Fine Art degree at Falmouth University, where he was awarded a scholarship from the Royal Academy for classical study at the Prado museum, as well as winning the accolade of ‘Free Range’ Most Promising Graduate.
