In the series ‘School Selfie‘, Chinese photographer Sun Kai Qiang captures surreal pastel portraits of her art school. The photographs offer diverse perspectives of everyday student life and focus on unique details of Hangzhou’s China Academy of Art. Inspired by the simple architecture of the campus and the people around her, Qiang says the aim is to document the changes taking place within the institution.
