Designer Christopher Duffy Created A Table With Swings

Christopher Duffy of Duffy London designed a table with swings to bring the playground into the dining room. Putting eco-friendly materials first, the table is made of walnut and oak wood from controlled forests. Depending on the different sizes, up to 12 people can sit at the table. With this construction, the designer plays with the concepts of gravity and geometry. The idea behind this project can be summarized with George Bernard Shaw’s quote: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.”
