Whimsical Cardboard Lamps by Vera van Wolferen

Words

Usually cardboard is something you’d throw away after use, though Dutch artist Vera van Wolferen recycles cardboard, using it as material for her whimsical lamps, postcards and stop-motion animation films. You can purchase her products here.

She states: “I’m an animation filmmaker and artist from the Netherlands. When I was little my mother used to bring home big boxes for me to play with. I transformed them into houses, post offices, and dollhouses. Today I use cardboard to make props for my stop motion animations and unique, handcrafted, one of a kind cardboard lamps.”
