Ryan Hancock’s photographs seem like daydreams, snapshots of a daily routine. Through his pictures the viewer has the sudden opportunity to dive into the artists everyday life, getting caught in a moment of alleged superficialness that is beautiful in its own way.

He has the gift of irritating us with his good eye for seemingly coincidental emptiness. The scenes, that almost resemble experimental set-ups, have the power of agitating us and implying a life hidden behind the idyll.
