Dancing Devils By Conor Beary

“Dancing Devils is a photo essay looking at the masked dancers of Liberia. Hailing from Liberia’s traditional culture before the introduction of freed America slaves arrived to Liberia and demonised its native beliefs. Shrouded in secrecy the Devils represent different tribal demons and gods that come from the belief and practice of Juju witchcraft.”
