Annika Kreikenbohm/ The Arts of Capoeira

Capoeira is Brazilian martial arts that developed in the 19th century. It combines elements of dance, acrobatics and martial arts from different social and cultural groups. In this project Annika Kreikenbohm portraits the unique and beautiful movements and elements of Capoeira. The combination of stroboscopic lights and long exposure enables to show the overall art and abstract shape as well as the detailed sequence of the motion.
