A Furniture Collection Inspired By Construction Sites

Scroll

Design studio Atelier D’Amis’ inaugural collection, ‘Laisse Beton’, was inspired by the eternal construction sites of New York City.

Founded by a trio of friends: furniture entrepreneur Philippe Boccara, designer and artist Sebastien Leon and interior architect Valerie Pasquiou, the New York and Los Angeles-based studio wants their design to transcend luxury furniture, becoming points of conversation for the home. Speaking of the inspiration behind the collection – which includes tables, chairs and shelves, Leon explains, “There is a certain beauty and unity in the architectural skeleton of construction which offers a stacked x-ray of structural elements, floor after floor.” A complimentary collection of plush seating, ‘Pipeline’, is featured here alongside Laisse Beton.
