Subversive Food Art By Enrico Becker And Matt Harris

‘GMF Series’ is a collection of subversive food artworks created by German photographer Enrico Becker in collaboration with Matt Harris for an editorial in Issue 0 of Sydney-based Ligature Journal. The images feature vibrant surreal still lifes of fruit painted in pastel tones and stamped with a barcode. The idea behind the spread was to delve into the commodification of produce and explore the future of genetically modified fruits.
