French artist Laurent Pernot created a hyperreal installation that looks like a frozen self-portrait. Titled ‘Self Portrait Face to A Winter Canvas‘, the piece features a human sculpture covered in snow standing in front of a painting. Primarily made of resin, artificial snow and a found canvas, the installation evokes the impression that the winter landscape surrounds the figure, creating a scene that seems to pull the viewer into the piece.
