Tomas Werner photographed a small dog named Q that he met ‘when he was in between ‘real’ jobs’, as he says. “Having lots of free time, I started to look after my friend’s dog. It didn’t take long before I started photographing him, often placing him on various kinds of pedestals. Q would be always eager to pose, it almost seemed like he was waiting to be photographed.”
Werner used the fading elegance of Art Deco Miami as his ready-made, outdoor studio. The images resulted in a book entitled ‘A Handbook Dog Walkers’ that you can get here.
