Recycled Beauty

Somehow we were highly attracted to these modern still-lifes that Laurie Frankel and Diane Gatterdam created for their project ‘Recycled Beauty’. With this series, they aim to highlight the extraordinary amount of disposable items in our lives, that we use just for an instant but then live on for years, while nature renews itself in a seamless, continual rhythm. Two complete opposites, combined in one picture that is beautiful and alarming at the same time.
