Alejandrina Herrera’s work speaks for itself. Creating beautiful scenes on the basis of drawing, collage and watercolor, she is incessantly looking for new ways to form, to diversify and present her work. She wants to create drawings that are converted into a kind of hybrid image by the combination of elements of illustration and design. The Mexican artist tells stories about people and animals and how they interact with their surroundings. She wraps everything with a tinge of irony and melancholy, playing around with the actual size of things and spaces. Her goal is it to perfect to draw images as three dimensional as possible.
