Santiago-based architectural bureau ‘Elton Leniz Arquitectos Asociados’ has designed ‘La Dehesa House’ located in Lo Barnechea, Chile. The private community of La Dehesa has the mountain landscape and an environment with plenty of native vegetation to offer. The site dimensions give room for the dwelling of 500 sqm. Based on two structural criteria and expressions, the first level is constructed in concrete while the second level presents itself in a light metal structure. Two typologies can be recognized: A horizontal base where they used mainly concrete stone and the upper level where wood volumes predominate. You can recognize the public and private spaces by looking at the composition and arrangement of the materials.
