Tires Rooted In The Ground In Barcelona

Words

Developed by art collective called CÚMUL for the street art festival Ús Barcelona, ‘Pneumatic’ goes beyond the formal limits of the architecture and plays with the intuition of what’s behind the wall. A series of urban interventions, the project is aimed at changing our perception of reality and challenge the established logic. It was realized in collaboration between artists Octavi Serra, Iago Buceta and Mateu Targa. By cutting the tires and hanging them in different points in the city, the artists play with the physical works as well as the intuition of what’s behind the walls that limit them.
