A Quirky Moon-Shaped Building By Moon Hoon Architects

Words

Designed by Seoul-based architecture studio Moon Hoon, ‘Two Moon’ is a quirky two-building structure with complementary moon-shaped facades near the Korean city of Ilsan. The building was inspired by the movie ‘Two Moon Junction‘ and aims to evoke a feeling of free-spiritedness. In addition to the main sphere-shaped recess, the architects included other astronomical motifs, such as circular windows and wall perforations resembling star constellations.
