Set of Unpublished Images by Lukasz Wierzbowski
- Caroline Kurze
We featured Polish photographer Lukasz Wierzbowski previously on iGNANT and last week we included him in our exhibition of the Top 10 Flickr photographers. Now he provided us with a selection of unpublished images that we exclusively feature on the blog for you.
His analogue imagery lets us travel back in time, as he mainly shoots in places that had been left untouched since the 70s and the 80s. He is playing with poses, patterns and colours like no other, creating experimental images where women – mostly his nieces or other family members and friends – are in the focus. Lukasz Wierzbowski actually began to shoot when he felt exhausted from his studies in Social Psychology and we’re really glad he did so. You can find an interesting interview with him over at Dazed Digital and you can still get his print, read more about it here.
