Recycled Art By Jane Perkins
- Caroline Kurze
Jane Perkins finds both inspiration and material in found objects. Using anything from toys, shells, buttons, beads, and jewellery as material to create her re-interpreted masterpieces. Perkins states that she doesn’t add any color, her work comes out of spontaneously placed small pieces of right size and shape.
Inspired by impressionist artists and famous portraits, Perkins’ work is mesmerizing. Comprised of hundreds of unique and interesting objects, her works keep you engaged from a distance, and intrigued when seen close-up.
