- Hannah Edwards
We already introduced Li Hui some time ago but nonetheless we are in awe of her work. Taking us to a land where the wind sings and the grass whistles, we can feel the sun on our faces and the warm earth underneath the soles of our feet. Li Hui mainly works with her friends as models, creating brief moments of intimacy and silence. Although, or maybe because she never shows faces on her photographs the viewer is enabled to project his very own feelings onto the image, keeping his or her secrets to him- or herself. For Li Hui this is a way of communicating and connecting with the beholder of her work.
