Artist Edwin Deen materialised a rainbow. Color pigment, an electric tap, a few meters hose and a plain garden sprinkler are the ingredients. ‘Liquid Rainbow’ plays with the tension that occurs when the sun shines on a rainy day and fills the sky with the elusive promise of a rainbow. The visitor never knows when ‘Liquid Rainbow’ will start spraying, though the repetition of the spray movement intensifies the seven colors on the white wall.
The installation is currently on display at the exhibition ‘Use it Again’, Ampelhaus, Oranienbaum. Until 26-08-2012.
