Whirling Thoughts By Clotilde Petrosino

“The aim of this series is to represent obsessive thoughts, anxiety and rumination process. That emotional status that makes the subject victim of a spiral of negative thoughts from which it seems impossible to get out. As a psychology student and as a photographer I’ve always been interested in finding the deep connection between psychology and photography. ” Rumination is the compulsively focused attention on the symptoms of one’s distress, and on its possible causes and consequences, as opposed to its solutions. (1) Both rumination and worry are associated with anxiety and other negative emotional states, however its measures have not been unified. ”
