False Twins By Diane Villadsen

For this shoot, I wanted to present the idea of “false twins.” As an only child, I often wondered what it would be like to have a sibling, so in a way this is an exploration of that possibility – inventing a sibling to adventure with. I had one model pose in different ways along the same plane while my camera stayed steady on a tripod, and then I composited the images to create an imaginary, identical “false twin.”
