Kujyukuri By Tetsuya Morimoto
Kujyukuri Beach, an hour drive from tokyo, is a toneless stretch of shore facing the Pacific Ocean. Kujyukuri stands for the length of the beach back when is was measured by the orders of the Shogun, Minamoto no Yoritomo. A tired town on the outskirts of Tokyo, has not much worth going to except for the smooth traffic flow. The photographer Tetsuya Morimoto visits the beach every now and then, hoping to find something that will catch the eye. Despite its nothingness.
