My ongoing longing for intimacy lead me to a blind spot of other people’s existences. These self-reflective moments give relief in the quotidian life we participate in. I endeavored to document the brief intermissions in the mundane scenery. The initialization of this project was realized when I found myself asking my cat the same question every day when I came back home from work, “What did you do today?” The interiors and traces of ourselves in the city never seem to be what they seem. While anonymity resonates on these places, I can’t help but to view them as fragments of my own loneliness. This is my attempt to locate and contemplate on them. By endeavoring this, perhaps, I will finally find peace in this emptiness in myself and accept it as poetry of solitude.
