With his works, Jamie Zigelbaum examines various notions of life on the search for a harmonic symbiosis between organic and inorganic materials.
With a background in neurosciences and in human-computer interactions at the MIT Media Lab, Zigelbaum develops interactive installations made with contemporary materials like software, engineered plastics and custom electronics. In his most recent project, Triangular Series, multiple luminous objects copy the heartbeat of the people walking below them. The project will debut at Design/ Miami Basel on June 17th, 2014 in Basel, Switzerland.
