Janneke van der Hagen studied photography at the Art Academy in Breda, where she graduated in 2008. Her photography is very intuitive, whereas she is trying to combine pure, graphical shapes with the theatricality of fashion photography.

Her work appeared in magazines such as Bad Day Magazine, Tissue Magazine, Unflop Paper, Open Lab Magazine, Blend, Vice, and I love fake Magazine. Currently she works and lives in Amsterdam.
