Black & White

In the world of Eran Amir everything is grey, grey, grey. The whole room, the table, the objects, himself are all painted in shades of grey. After a while every little piece, the watermelon, playing cards, the candle and in the end himself turn into color again. One might think that he used digital manipulation, as Amir studies Digital Media at ‘Hochschule für Künste’ in Bremen. But actually all footage was captured on camera in color and everything, including himself was painted in all shades of grey in troublesome attention to detail. As he turns around the playing cards, cuts the watermelon, washes his face everything reappears in a shiny color. If you want to know more about the process, you can find a making of the video here.
