Planting distance by Krystyna Bilak

In the series “Planting distance” Krystyna Bilak anthropomorphizes the living nature. She is searching for the symbolic sign of symbiosis with nature, where the humans and floras share common qualities. Beyond the representation of nature, the human appears as a similar existence, or a missing component, or rather as a participant of shaping the environment. The elements of everyday life help us understand our situations. The assimilation, the outbreak, the shaped and untended sign of organic forms resembles of human characteristics.
