“An Uncanny Twist On Universal Forms” With Muller Van Severen

A powder coated three-dimensional stainless steel grid has been created –in furniture form this time– by the minimalists Muller Van Severen. Entitled Wire S #, the team designed resourceful additions to their furniture collection. Certain structures of the project serve as integrated side tables in addition to their key purpose of lounging (all day long). “It’s obviously ‘furniture’ but the emphasis is not completely concentrated on function and suggests different ways of living and use of space,” can outline the purpose of their artistic expression.
