Portraits Of Small-Town America By Thomas Chéné

French photographer Thomas Chéné travelled through the small towns of the United States for the series ‘Truths and Consequences‘. Besides empty landscapes, his photographs feature portraits of residents with powerful facial expressions. In a statement about the series, the photographer says: “The moments I chose, are those in which the solitude, confusion and fragility of the individual seem to touch the visible surface of being.”
