Subversive Food Landscapes By Barbara Ciurej And Lindsay Lochman

Words

American photography duo Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman created a series of whimsical landscape images made of processed foods. Titled ‘Processed Views‘, the project explores industrial food production and how moving further away from our food sources can lead to environmental and health consequences. Not only are the images composed of processed foods, such as Froot Loops and slices of bologna, the images themselves also appear to be over-processed and edited, which seems to emphasize ideas of consumption and the changing industrial landscape.
