‘Blocks’ is a conceptual photo series by Switzerland-based photographer Fabien Nissels. Perhaps you know the children’s game Mr. Potato Head, then you nearly know what Nissels does with his friend Johan in his studio. They shot four views from each part of his body, printed them and fixed the images on polystyrene blocks.

Nissels reimagines the capabilities of human bodies in his entertaining and surreal series, while he states: ‘There is no photoshop cheating, our modular man really went to all these places and always asked for souvenir pictures, except maybe the one when he was on the toilets’.
